Matt graduated as a physiotherapist in 2009. For the past 13 years he’s worked for the NHS, private practice and with Harrogate Town F.C. Now, he is bringing this wealth of experience to the Dronfield Health Hub with the aim of improving his clients quality of life. "Getting to the root cause of your problem is ultimately important to reaching a satisfactory long lasting outcome" he said.

Matt regularly treats clients who present with a variety of conditions including arthritis, neck pain, sciatica and knee pain. He also thrives in being able to treat those with chronic pain and remains available to offer second opinions to clients whose previous treatments have not been satisfactory.

It is an approach that really helped Mr Shaw. Having had X-Rays and scans, his consultant suggested he may require two knee replacements, but he decided to see Matt for a second opinion. “I was assessed for my knees and hips. Matt took into account my scan findings and recognised a longstanding issue with my back. I was given manual therapy and a small number of exercises. Just one session has greatly improved my confidence, mobility and overall health. I can highly recommend Matt's positive approach.”
